Emotional steadiness
A regulated presence.
I stay steady so you can be. Through questions, changes of plan, and the moments that feel bigger than language.
I'm Steph. I stay for the planning, the long hours, and the quiet days after.
Hands-on comfort, clear words, and a familiar face — shaped around your body, your values, and your family.
London & Kent + virtual·Trauma-informed care

A partner learning where their hands can help.
Moments from the work
Ordinary, sacred hours. A shoulder to lean into, a pause on the ball, and someone who stays.

At the birth centre
A shoulder close enough to lean into, and a voice that does not rush you.

Hands-on comfort
The ball and warm hands, so a surge has somewhere to go.

Before the day
Positions and words your partner can use, learned in a room like yours.

Meet Steph
I'm a full-spectrum doula supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The work is personal on purpose. I learn how you like to be spoken to, what you are worried about, and what good support actually means in your home.
I trained with The Original Birth Connection and qualified in January 2026. You can also find me in their doula directory.
Most of the care happens in ordinary rooms. A partner's hands finding the right place. A pause on the birth ball. A shoulder at the birth centre when the room feels very big. I stay for those hours, and for the quieter ones after you are home.
Whether this is your first baby, you are healing after a difficult birth, or you need a softer landing in postpartum — you do not have to hold this chapter by yourself.
You deserve care that protects your peace and strengthens your confidence.

How I support you
Full-spectrum care means continuity: trusted guidance, advocacy, and a familiar face from planning through postpartum. Non-medical support, shaped around your body, your values, and your family.
A regulated presence.
I stay steady so you can be. Through questions, changes of plan, and the moments that feel bigger than language.
Hands that know what helps.
Movement, the birth ball, counter-pressure, and positions that work with your body — in pregnancy, labour, and recovery.
Plain language. Your choice.
I explain what is happening in words you can use, so you can choose without pressure. Your decisions stay yours.
A team, not a spectator.
Partners leave knowing where to stand, what helps, and how to stay close. This is shared, and they are part of it.

Where are you in your journey?
The Birth Support
Fully prepared. Fully supported. From your first session to the moment your baby arrives.
This brings together The Birth Den antenatal course and The Covered Birth support into one seamless package. You will spend the weeks before your birth building knowledge, confidence, and a rock-solid mindset — and then I will be right there with you on the day, from active labour through to delivery, so that everything you have prepared for can actually be lived out in the room.
Best for: Families who want the full preparation experience and a trusted, consistent presence on the day. The ideal choice for first-time parents, those with previous birth trauma, high-risk pregnancies, or anyone who simply does not want to navigate this alone.

Your journey
Each step is there to quiet the noise, and leave you more prepared than when we started.
We talk about your hopes, worries, and the kind of birth and postpartum you are picturing. You leave knowing what support could look like — with no pressure to decide.
Prenatal sessions prepare your body, your questions, and your support team. We practise positions and comfort tools in a room that feels like yours, so they are familiar on the day.
The same person you practised with is the person who walks in. From active labour onward, I stay — comfort, clear communication with your team, and a calm presence while the plan unfolds.
After birth, we turn toward recovery, feeding confidence, and the story of what just happened — then build a rhythm that your home can actually keep.
Stories
A few notes from the people who have been in the room with me.
“She held the room with so much calm. Even when our plan changed, I felt respected, informed, and supported the whole way through.”
“Postpartum would have broken me without this support. I had practical help, emotional space, and guidance that actually made sense in real life.”
“As the partner, I knew what to do and when to step in. We both felt stronger because she made us feel like a real team.”
